ミアッツォは19世紀初めミラノに設立された古代芸術の専門家による家具修復工房から始まっています。
戦争の影響で一度生産は止まっていましたが、1947年、再出発し伝統的な技術を活かした家財製品を製作しています。
半世紀以上前に生産された木工家具は今でも現存する物もあり、品質の高さと趣が感じられます。
